I just have the problem with Macbook does not enter sleep mode when i closed lit( have ruled all possible solfware issues). Any help would be appreciated. Chosen Solution ASUS x55vd Wont turn on at all. Where is BIOS reset hole? Charger is fine. Lights don’t come on at all even with charger plugged in. have tried taking battery out and putting back in but doesn’t work. HELP there are no bios reset holes on laptops. you can do a bios reset, by “load bios defaults” on the bios, obviously…. it might be also a motherbord failure, its what sounds most likely… in that case considerer buying a new laptop....
Chosen Solution Hi guys, I just received my new MBP (8GB RAM & 256GB SSD) Retina yesterday, and I’m really crazy about it. It’s a really awesome computer, but I hoped that it would run cooler than it has been. I normally have the following things running at once: Chrome (Canary - because, it’s the only chrome which actually is supporting retina display) Safari (same reason) Skype v2 (just opened, not calling), Diablo 3 installing Teamviewer (opened, not using) 5-6 tabs in my browsers I actually use SMC Fan Control for Fan control and iStat Menu to watch the temperature and the temperature is around 80C with the fan rotating at 2800 rpm I don’t understand why the MBP (which should easily run video encoding, gaming, and others…) runs so hot....
Chosen Solution My sony Bravia started off with a issue where the tv would turn off by itself and I would noticed 6 red light flashing. I called a tech and he said that the power supply was good and the panels were gone and it’s best to replace the tv. Fast forward a day later, I turned the TV on using the power button on the tv and it came back to life....

Can I just replace the flex cable or do I have to replace the screen and which manual should I look at? Any info and/or tips would be greatly appreciated!!! The older Unibody & retina MacBook Pro’s issue is a bit different from the newer 2016/17 retina model. Here the issue is often the logic board LVDS/iDG connecter and/or the cable connector having corrosion damage....

I have transplanted Baseband CPU, EEPROM, and the WiFi IC Checked the lines around and there is all work ok no short. I have combined the two board now the problem is that there is no Modem Firmware and if I enter *#06# in the dial pad IMEI does not show up....
Chosen Solution I have a Korean/International version of the samsung galaxy note 4 a smn-910k with a bad charge port of course. I have looked every where for a k version of the charge port. Does anybody know where these can be sourced or can an American version ( a,v,t…) of this board be substituted for the international version. Try and find a repair shop that will be able to micro solder a charging port to the charge port daughterboard....
Chosen Solution I have an okay…ish work laptop and an Xbox one (which I don’t use anymore, I have a Xbox one S), I was wondering what would happen if I simply swapped the hard drives, that way I can have a PC for work. I don’t need anything powerful and am aware of breaching the user agreements. Could this be a simple swap and away we go? No. Even back in the original Xbox days when security was absolutely s h i t, Microsoft would not be so stupid that Xbox would just accept any OS stored on the hard drive....
Chosen Solution I have my s7 edge that I have smashed my screen on. I bought a second hand s7 edge to replace it but it turned out the IMIE is blocked so the phone is a brick. Can I take the logic board out of my old phone with the smashed screen and put it in the other phone. yes, touch ID may not work unless you swap out the buttons (not 100% on that) but the logic board is what is bricked not the device....

Pls how do I get the switch working or stop it from coming up automatically You can’t stop the laptop from turning on when you plug it in or attach a battery. I have an extra display with working buttons but a non-working screen. You can try to attach the button by taking the display module apart....
Chosen Solution I recently replaced the logic board on my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (AT&T, SM-G395A), with a logic board from a T- Mobile device device (SM-G395T). Can I replace the t-mobile firmware (SM-G395T) with the at&t firmware SM-G395A) without any issues? I have personally completed it successfully with Odin, but you need to make sure you have the correct files by matching your baseband version with the Samsung firmware’s baseband you need, or your calling function won’t work....

Mine for quite sometime has had issues with unresponsiveness to touch and as of late started experiencing ghost touches. I have a donor motherboard so I just replaced the broken button. I tested the iPod after the button replacement work and everything was fine then I put the motherboard in my ultrasonic cleaner because I used flux. After the ultrasonic cleaning the backlight didn’t work....
