Chosen Solution I spilled some water on my macbook pro and now it turns on as soon as I plug it in, even if I detach the keyboard.. No need to press the power button, which in fact seems to be doing nothing. Once turned on the fan is at max speed and the screen appears to turn off after some seconds. Keeping the power button pressed won’t switch it off....
Chosen Solution Hello, last night I noticed there was water on my MBA (siblings probably spilled some) and so I wiped it off and proceeded to open it and login. Like the idiot I was, I continued to press the power button because it kept shutting off. So after I read some forums I finally turned it upside down like a tent and set it in front of a fan. It’s been about 24 hours so I went back and tried to plug In the power and the red light didn’t appear so now I think I killed the battery too....

Everytime I do I get the error message “windows could not update the computer’s boot configuration installation cannot proceed” I have gone into CMD, cleaned, formated, coverted to GPT. and still nothing. Pressing on the bottom ribbon cables does nothing. The tcon board makes a faint screeching noise when the lines are present on the screen. Thanks @cometcaliente since you already replaced every board and the noise on the t-con board could point to a bad gate on the LCD driver board....
