Chosen Solution and if you do find one it’s crazy expensive. does anybody know where else to find some? Probably because manufacturers are not in the business of selling parts, they want to sell their devices. The aftermarket world realize that the logic board would be a last ditch effort to resurrect a device and thus charges us an arm and a leg. Supply and demand rules the business world, got to love capitalism ;-) Anyhow, it might help to tell us where you’ve looked so far and what the average $$$ was....

Chosen Solution Dear iFixit Reader, my MBP 15inch late 2007 model A1226 2.4ghz has following story, in short: The MBP has a 5 month old logic board and everything’s been fine since the replacement. Two days ago, while using it on battery it just turned off even though battery was at 80%. I tried turning it back on, MBP would fail after nimble boot attempts, maybe 1-2 seconds of booting, then shut off....

Chosen Solution Plugged 3 pairs of earphones in. Sound isn’t working properly. I have to move the earphone plug around to hear the music fully. No lint recovered from the socket/jack. Why is this happening? Is it fixable? at first - here is the teardown, as you can see in step 5, the socket is on the bottom right corner - there are 4 soldering points - one of those could be damaged, it’s also possible that the ribbon cable is faulty - there are ways to fix this without a new part....

Chosen Solution After opening my iPhone which had a loose screw I turned it back on and noticed that the black colors where white and white colors are black. The colors are inverted and my white black toggle is off.I tried restoring and that didn’t help. Its for sure the screen and not any hardware because I took a screenshot and everything showed up just fine(no negative colors). Could this possibly be a loose ribbon cable?...

Chosen Solution why the music doesnot play in my iphone 4s whereas ringtone is playing? does we need to chanfe the flex ? Clean iPhone charging port very well with isopropyl alcohol and toothbrush. If still problem, replace iPhone charging port with flex cable, lower mic and home button flex connector all a single part.

Chosen Solution Copy icon highlighted, I press ok, It prompts me to choose color, b & w or economy. I scroll to B & W and press ok. Number of copies comes up with a 1 in the field. I press ok. Chosen Solution While the lid of my Macbook Pro can close all the way, if you close the lid and then take your finger off, it bounces back up about an eighth of an inch. From what I can tell, the force of the locking magnets is being overcome by the opposing force of a hinge that doesn’t want to shut all the way. The screen has never been replaced and the case has never been opened....

Chosen Solution It has been charging since Friday of last week and it still wont turn on. Previously it wouldn’t be able to go 5 minutes without a charger now it wont turn on at all. I’ve tried holding down the home and power button simultaneously but that doesn’t work. Could someone help?

Chosen Solution My ephone wont send/receive e-mail although my hotwire account is working just fine on my computer. We have checked all the settings and all seems to be in order try going to settings, mail/contacts and deleting the account and then setting up as new. Don’t know why but sometimes the iphone just has a bit of a blip and this generally sorts it out.

Chosen Solution Sometimes laptop wont turn on and a green light where there is a padlock sign with number one appears. Why is this and what can I do to repair it? This sounds like a hard drive problem. Have you heard any clicking sounds or strange slow behavior before it started doing this if so than it is the hard drive gone bad

Chosen Solution My spacebar was sticking and not really working on my Macbook Air. Like an idiot, I slid a piece of a stickynote under there to see if I could clean out the dust. In doing so, amazingly, I managed to dislodge this little rubber nipple. It just slid right to the side of the key and then almost out from under the key. Since it was clearly already dislodged, I just pulled it the rest of the way out....

Chosen Solution I have tried many ways to get the jack out but none have worked. It is very deep inside the computer I was just wondering if there is an easier non-glue related way of getting it out? Hi @alyia289 , The audio line out connector on the back panel (if this is what you mean), is soldered onto the motherboard. The motherboard would have to be removed for it to be unsoldered and replaced as most probably the connector will be damaged....

Chosen Solution I have a 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee that has less than 100k miles on it. So it’s in great shape for its age. The problem is that it has started to stall when driving it - it stalls when it is decelerating. It only does it every once in awhile. Also, it usually starts right back up but sometimes it will not. If I keep trying it will eventually restart....
