Chosen Solution My screen colours went funny while watching a YouTube video. I initially restarted the device to resolve it but now its seems to be permanent. I’ve reset SMC as well as NVRAM/PRAM I’ve connected it to a external display monitor and the issue doesn’t appear on it. It must be the internal display or its cable. Chosen Solution I have not used my trimmer for a while and now it is now turning on. I already changed the battery but it still does not work. Since you have not used your trimmer for some time, there is a good chance the battery or switch leads are corroded. Check out the troubleshooting page for more information.

Chosen Solution I have a Toshiba R950 with a faulty LED blacklight. The screen is very dark and you can see text when you use a strong light. So it is a blacklight problem. I have ordered a screen from china, with a higher resolution, but same 40 pin and almost the same screen model number. The blacklight was working, but the screen was green and blurry. I swapped the china screen with the old one, the old one has still no blacklight....

Chosen Solution the bottom half of my sceen is darker than the top. There could be two reasons for this: 1. Faulty screen. 2. Faulty component on logic board backlight circuit. Rule out parts first by replacing the screen. In the case of the iPhone 6 case that is the problem of faulty LCD.

Chosen Solution It has 12 GB RAM but in Windows 7 ultimate it says that 3.17 GB is usable, Also in task manager is not showing 12 GB physical memory it’s totally 3251 MB. Is it Windows’s problem or others? What is the problem? Thank you You likely are using a 32-bit version of Windows 7. 32-bit operating systems have a limit of only being able to see 3gb of RAM....

Chosen Solution My wifi is not picking up any signals. Have gone thru the steps illustrated by Apple to reset the network settings. Have also tried restoring my iPhone completely via iTunes. Even turned off 3G to force wifi, but still not seeing any signals. Sounds like you need to replace the antenna, unfortunately it doesn’t seem that iFixit has this part, looks like you can find it on a bunch of other sites though, like here....

Chosen Solution I’ve just bought a Sony TC—wr445 casette deck and it won’t turn the tape, when I try to play it makes clicking sounds, belts are all in tact @jonp123 you have to try and isolate the area where the clicking noise is coming from and let us know. This should help with the disassembly Also inspect all your boards for any damaged looking (leaking or domed capacitors etc.) post some images of your boards with your question so we can see what you see....

Chosen Solution Hi have a A1466 early 2015 MacBook Air and I’m trying to do a screen replacement but I’ve stripped 5 screws on the bottom of the MacBook because of the bad quality of the screwdriver now they’re very stripped as I’ve tried to have another individual look at them. I’m wondering how to take these screws out to continue with my screen replacement. What would happen if I just pulled the case off with my hands?...

Chosen Solution why is my computer is on, as indicated by the power light, but the screen does not react in any way. If your computer screen is black but your computer itself is running, you should connect your AC adapter and charge the device. Make sure to remove any external electronics and memory expansions. After removing the AC adapter, restart your computer by holding the power button for 15 seconds....

Chosen Solution Hello, i replaced housing to my iphone 6 plus becouse it was very damaged, after moving all the components to new housing and turning it on it gets very hot and then turns off, i investigated little bit and seems that that component between screen connectors and simtray. Well, that’s where you got the SoC or CPU if you prefer. Overheating and shutdown point to a short in the processor, nothing you can take care of from a DIY prospective and being a very troublesome repair even for a Pro it’s probably not even worth a repair attempt due to a very unfavorable risk/reward ratio....

Chosen Solution i haven’t replaced my better yet, but i’m wondering could my battery be the actual problem. i’m having to keep it on the charger almost constantly! off the charger it lasts MAYBE 30 minutes, and even if it is fully charged it will die at any percentage..then when hooked back up to the charger the percentage goes back up to a range from 54 % to 90%. also, the other day i was charging my phone and all of a sudden it wouldn’t charge, i let my phone die and that night i put it charging and it was working the following morning and was fully charged....

Chosen Solution The vacuum is turned on and making noise, but no debris is being taken into the barrel. It sounds like you have a clog. I would check the wand “barrel”. I’ve found that my vacuum often loses suctioning power when it is clogged, or the filter needs to be replaced. My dyson does not suck up the fluff from the carpet
