Chosen Solution Hello So , I want to replace the screen , and first i want to check if the phone works with power supply , i put the voltage 3.7 when i connect the power supply to the battery terminals it shows a constant current of 0.25A before i even push the power button , and when i push the power button , the Amp meter moves slightly and then stand still , the screen is black , nothing changed any explanation for that and how to fix it ?...

Chosen Solution Hi, so i think the 12V and GND on my macbook pro got shortet by a small piece of metal getting sucked in by the magnet. Now my mac will not charge. I have tried with 4 different chargers. HOWEVER it will charge if i use the cheap China charger i have in my car. So thats why i think it could be some protection circuit or whatever that was triggered by the short to the MBP magnetic “charge area”, and that the cheap china charger does not care about this safety mechanism....

Is it anything battery-related, because everything is fine when I connect charger. So my question is that should I replace battery? Also worth mentioning that one speaker element had hole at some point of it’s life, but I fixed it. Chosen Solution So I bought a water damaged iphone 7 plus that’s been turned off for 3 months, i found a shorted capacitor right under the ear piece speaker ( only sign of water damage in the entire iPhone) so I removed said capacitor and the iPhone booted normally, I restored it through iTunes to get the previous owners data off and it all went well, signed in with my iCloud account and started testing the iPhone and then it started shutting off after like 4 minutes of use ( I charged the battery using a lithium ion battery charger up to 10% to make sure the iPhone turned on and at this point had the iPhone plugged in this whole time but the battery went from 10 to 5) so I thought I should let the battery go through a few cycles to start working normally again but it’s been 24hrs and the phone is still at 5% but it went to 4% then 3% then back up to 5% so I really don’t know whats the problem I tried the hard reset but no luck someone please help me im desperate...

To clarify I have a Macbook Pro 4,1 A1260 2.4Ghz 2x2GB Ram and was thinking of buying a 4GB stick and using one of the current 2GB sticks to make it up to 6GB, but why cant i use two 4GB sticks to make it up to 8GB? is this a hardware limitation? A black line down the screen would likely indicate the LCD is broken, so you’d have to replace the LCD display itself. If glass is broken, you’ll want to replace that; if not, then don’t. If touch is still working, then the digitizer is not broken....
