Apple won’t help you in this case, they will only suggest an OOW replacement. I would try a toothbrush and some IPA to clean out the grill. Chosen Solution My router randomly restarts and the power light stays amber for about a minute and then restarts again. This happens for about 10-15 minutes and then it will finally work again (usually). I’ve determined it is a hardware problem (flashed the firmware again and then tried a factory reset) (the manual states if the power light is amber for more than 20 seconds it’s probably a hardware issue). Chosen Solution My NuVision TM1088 has no sound output, even with the volume turned up. Make sure that you don’t have anything plugged into the headphone jack. Also, metal debris in the headphone jack could short out the jack and the device will believe you have headphones plugged in.

Chosen Solution Set at 78-later see it set at 69? @anncarjor the display may show you the room temperature, not the set temperature. Once you set the temp, the display will flash for five seconds, become constant for five seconds and then returns to display room temperature. You can check this with a separate thermostat and see what the true temp is. You do want to make sure that you do not have the timer set for anything else....

Chosen Solution I currently bought a used iPhone with a cracked screen but I realized that when I turn on the device it takes longer than an iPhone 5 to turn on, why could this be? If for “long” you mean minutes it could easily be the audio chip failure that happens when phone has been bent or badly hit. It would require a microsoldering repair to get fixed. It may have be due to overheating if it was laying in the sun for 30mins....

Chosen Solution I recently just replaced my screen with an Ifixit replacement screen. Since doing the swap, I noticed that on the right edge of the screen gets a ripple/distortion on the screen when hard pressed. Is this a screen issue or something else? Most likely it’s your LCD. It should not create any ripple or distortion unless it’s not sitting on the frame properly which would require a significant press to create that effect....

Chosen Solution my iPhone received water damage last night. it worked fine but wont connect to any charger and now that the charge is gone the phone is nothing more than a paperweight. i was wondering which part you think is damaged. im hearing battery, dock connector, and fuse on the logic board. i personally think its the connector but id like to get a more experienced persons opinion before i end up buying all three to find out that the last thing i bought is what was the problem....

Chosen Solution My retina display is damaged from a headphone jack that got caught between the lid and keyboard, because I don’t have enough money I’m continuing using it like this. Is this harming my system besides the visible line on the screen its self? Does this affect the computers performance? And if yes what should I do? Ouch! Chosen Solution She has opened played on it for about an hour, tried to play one of the game cartridges she has and the inno tab screen froze. We took out the game cartridge, turned of the inno tab and now it won’t come back on again. We have plugged it in to the charger and the green charging light comes on but the inno tab still won’t come on even when it is plugged in....

Chosen Solution I can/have done a hard reset and reset my parameters but it will not read that there are any cards installed. I have tried all of the cards I have. It has a new battery and is charged. Did you replace the battery? Open it up and check the card reader connector has been fitted properly.

Chosen Solution For days I’ve been trying to figure out why my 13” Mid 2012 MacBook wouldn’t power on. I tried a few tricks but none would work so I poured some alcohol on a few spots and found some bubbling on one section. I poked at c6213 on the Logic Board and it came off then suddenly my MacBook power on. I’m not sure what c6213 does, or if it’s needed but it seems to be working fine without it....
