Chosen Solution My iPhone 5’s A6 chip is getting hot even when i just turn it on and when i’m not using it. The battery drains super fast, but the battery works fine (I plugged it into a different iPhone 5 and it was fine). It charges really slow too and only charges with a specific adapter from 30 pin Apple plug to lightning and it says the other cables aren’t certified by Apple, even an official Apple cable and won’t charge at all if it dies....
Chosen Solution I inserted a new cartridge in my deskjet 2000. I printed once. The second time had a paper jam. Removed jam. Kept saying door not shut. I removed both cartridges then reinsert ed both. The black was fine the color reading incapatible. There had been some ink spilled in the printer from old cartridge. Wiped the back down gently after the printer stated that ink not compatible. Please advise if and how I can fix this....

Chosen Solution Heya iFixIt Community, i recently got a Toshiba l855-11t for repair and this thing was a trouble from the start even finding informations or getting working drivers. but its overheats after 1 hours just on installing or small things like itunes and such atm i got a Active Laptop Cooler from Cooler Master, but that doesnt solve the problem how extrem it gets and the idle room temp is just arround 22°C....
Chosen Solution The battery drains very quickly. When the laptop is plugged in, it still doesn’t charge at all and the battery continues to drain. Be sure the power cord is plugged in all the way. You need all parts of the adapter connected for the battery to charge. This includes ensuring the connecting to the wall outlet is working. Chosen Solution I am trying to put my battery into place and it won’t go. Do I need to try and turn in? I am not sure if it is in the wrong position. If your battery is not staying in place it could be because it’s not in the right position. You will have to turn it and push it down until it clips. If you are sure that it’s place on the right position and it still not staying in place then you may have a faulty clip and that may be preventing it from staying in the right position....

I have only done a handful of 5S repairs thus far though, and haven’t had any issues until now. The problem I’m having with a customer’s phone is with Touch ID. Now, I’m fully aware that the home button flex cable that ships with a 5S is unique to that particular phone, and cannot be replaced while still preserving Touch ID functionality....
Chosen Solution The wires just fatigued and broke from the display being opened/closed over the years. Wifi was still kind working (very slow) until I took the wifi card out saw that all the wires were broken. I have decent soldering skills. Just wondering if anyone has a proven solution before I make something up. Hi Most of the time these wires are fixable Do you mean the little connector bits at the end(highlighted by the squares in your photo) as far as I know you can just solder the cable back together(with it prepared for it)but if its the small connector that has fallen off the end ,you will probably have to crimp a new one on to get a good connection that works ad you can’t let solder flow into the connector itself Hopefully this helps Any questions please ask Thanks:-)
Chosen Solution I have replaced the wireless/Bluetooth card in my laptop and the Bluetooth works but the wireless does not. I have replaced the display and still not working. Was told that maybe an inductor coil needed replaced. Can anyone shed any light on this and maybe direct me to the best way to get this done? Chosen Solution Just want to double check and see if anyone experienced the same issue. I believe it’s the power supply causing my Xbox to not function properly but not even sure if the internal power works the way I imagine it to. I’m uncertain if the entire motherboard is screwed but the sounds in the video come the power supply after receiving power. Actually I suspect the PSU is fine, it sounds like the board is trying to draw power, but there is a short somewhere, the huge current triggered protection and it shuts down and retries in a few seconds....

Can you guys help me ! @gmej1your computere can either not find / read the hard drive (HDD failure)or the files on the hard drive are corrupted (OS failure) You need to try and access the BIOS on the computer and see if the BIOS can see your hard drive....
Chosen Solution I experienced this issue when I replaced the frame on my phone and had to transfer everything over. The proximity sensor wasn’t close enough to the glass onto the new screen so I placed a folded piece of paper between the sensor and the black piece that screws down. Make sure you place the rubber piece in the frame before installing the proximity sensor. I installed a program called sensor kinetics to see if the proximity sensor was working properly....
