A few days back I had opened up my iMac to replace the HDD with an SSD and while reassembling the iMac, I booted up the system only with the LCD in place without putting on the glass panel to make sure that the issue was not being caused by any dust stuck between the glass panel and the LCD but the spots were still there on the LCD display....

Chosen Solution It doesn’t do it immediately after being turned on, it happens after a while of use. There’s no unusual sound like a fan spinning hard and it doesn’t seem unusually hot. I’ve removed the display and re-seated it and made sure all the connects are firmly in place on the motherboard. I spillt some water on my charger while it was connected to my laptop and the outlet, effectively short-circuiting it (I assume). Chosen Solution The system is updated but simcard is invalid even I buy new one @paciotti , Nirvana , Visit/contact a retail location for your service provider and purchase a new Sim card and have this card activated by your provider/ or see if they can activate one of your simcards to make it valid. Even though I charged and find that the battery got full-charge, it only announces ‘Four hours playtime’ … So, I am now trying to exchange the battery inside. Chosen Solution My iPod touch was working fine and the battery was charged well. I pushed the standby button and when I tried a few minutes later to turn it on, nothing happened. I connected it to my desktop computer and it was not recognized by the computer and still it would not turn on. Have you tried a soft reset? Hold both power button and home button for 15 seconds....

Chosen Solution Sitting for awhile and screen lifted slightly now won’t charge Open it up and inspect the battery. If it’s bloated and pushing the screen up start with replacing it. Chosen Solution Hello, I would also like to be able to use my isight by usb but in my case I only have 5 wires. It is also from a 2011 imac Update (01/11/2022) I have found this diagram, I suppose that the camera is pins 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 but I connect them as it says there and I can not make it work @skep_7 the schematic really does not show what cable goes where since you are missing the camera board etc....

Chosen Solution I was trying to flash a stock rom via fastboot, flashing img files but one file was corrupt. I need to get into EDL mode but can’t, it is now stuck booting into fastboot. Is this something you can do? I know you can do it by shorting test points on the motherboard but I not comfortable doing that Since you’re bootlooping into fastboot, you can try download 8T Fastboot ROM to unbrick it ( if ur bootloader is unlocked )....

Chosen Solution All the lights turn on to indicate that it’s on and after holding the power button down for so long it will turn off. I have removed the battery and powered it by cord only I have also removed the smaller watch type battery to do a hard reset and yet the screen still stays black. I don’t have a way to connect it to another monitor and I have no idea how to format....

Chosen Solution Everything I try to get into is extremely slow and then it says it’s not responding. Also can I get Netflix on it? There may be a malware problem on your device that is slowing it down. Download and install Malwarebytes for Android and do a full scan of your tablet. Chosen Solution When trying to log in the process freezes about 3/4 of the way and now I can’t get past this stage. Could be several things. We need to know you exact model.
